Hello Gasmaniacs and happy new 2004!!

Did hit south when baying "nos" GULF NO NOX pumpplate at ebay? Its like brand new,regular size but there is a small R insede a circle below X .I know it means registered but is that same as "licenced ..." = repro?

The sign should be original. I don't know of any of this shape Gulf sign being reproduced. The registration logo is on the Gulf signs I have seen.
