This might not be possible to do without an image but... I have a old (70+) model car that came with an attachable travel trailer. There is a symbol on the side of the car that makes me think it might be from a service station. It is a circle with a wing coming up from it. (Think Mercury) Does this ring any bells for any one out there? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

the only mercury oil company I know of was up in washington and oregon , it was owned by the mars oil company from mid east , we had in calif , some Mars stations in the 60ties , but they didn't last long . and there logo was a seashorse ,
there also was a globe that had a logo on it with the end of a pipe and wings comeing out of it , but the pipe was for natural gas , and they were out of houston , new mexico , colorado,
