Yes, Randy the ones pictured are Imperial Quarts.

Canada switched to the metric system (liter oil cans) during the late 70's by 1980 Canada was a 100% metric.

Randy, good question. I would imagine that they would be Imperials, but...?

I think that "Our Canadian Brethren" will have to confirm the correct answer to your question....

For anyone wanting a Pacific 66 item, to display alongside your Phillips 66 items...

Jack,
I spoke with the "Old Pacific 66" bulk dealer and he is going to write a few pages of history for me. I will share this when I get it. He owned three Bulk Stations in BC. Previously he was with Phillips and switched to Pacific 66 in 1963. There is much more to the story of this transition and other gas politics and trivia.
He is also going to get me pictures and some other stuff he says.
Interesting story to say the least.

Dale,
Here are a few pictures of the 1935 Chevrolet Dump Truck. It has a factory hand wind box, you will note that someone had installed a "pup motor" on it at one time. Probably a old gas washing machine motor, ha ha. I have loaded the box and wound it up, smooth as silk and dumps the same. It is in pretty good shape and gets driven once an awhile.
As far as Pacific 66 signs, I am working on a few leads.

I didnt have anything to do with this, but I highly doubt you were "ordered" to delete the pictures by an "oldgas cop"

Ryan,
I didn't specifically say it was you did I!
It was "watchdog7".
And that is what was requested. "Delete the truck pictures"
It is not a big deal man so don't get your knickers in a knot...OK!
All is good with me and I was just making a funny comment which was more for the one member that I was responding to who asked about the truck in the picture and if I could post a few of it.
In my mind it was related to the original post I made.
So whatever floats the boat, I can work with the program.

It is time for Ryan"s English lesson 1o1, follow along if you can.

Your exact post is quoted above, followed by my reply.

You were clearly being snide with your post, calling one of our watch dogs an "oldgas cop". It is clear that you are rubbed the wrong way by being asked to delete a picture that has nothing to do with petro.

My conclusion comes as follows.

1. The term "old gas cop"
2. The word "ordered"
3. The ! at the end of the sentence.

My reply broken down.

1. I didnt have any thing to do with this. (no harm there, just stating the facts)
2. I highly doubt that you were "ordered" to delete the picture by an "old gas cop". I stand by this statement.

I have not seen the PM or communication between you and the watch dog, but I am guessing it goes something like this.

"Please delete your pictures of the truck, as they are not petro related."

Maybe you should take your own advice.
