Might be to "art" photography collectors Bob....maybe that particular photographer has a following, say for instance like Ansel Adams or some of the Depression Era photographers, whose works are worth thousands. I wouldn't pay that much for a photo, but some might!

The photo is beautiful. Compare it to the wonderful snapshots on the great pic's thread and you can see this photo was taken with an artists perspective in composition and values. If it was real might even be worth the asking price or more...

I would want to 'hold it in my hand' so to speak or get it through a reputable dealer. Photographs like prints, can be iffy.
