They say half the fun is getting there. Getting ready to head West tomorrow morning. I got to help load some stuff for a one way trip today and got to see another nice collection. Hope to find some nice clean porcelain at the show. Plus maybe some BBQ on the way.

cry That picture of the loaded truck just reminded me of the unfortunate individual leaving Iowa Gas last year and LOST the blue, Wayne 60 off a trailer while going down the road! As I recall, by the time he realized it, turned around and went back to pick it up, it was already gone! I think he did get it returned from an honest Oldgasser.

Walked away quite a few times also Shawn, But Mike was a great salesman and seeing it in the CTO show photos and still for sale @ Iowa made it too tough to walk away again.

It was my pleasure John (Tankar) And Thank you for hosting the Cheese Curds, Ellyn and Kelly Rhein (With kellys Mike) and Allowing me to add a few more of Mike Rhein's Signs to my Collection.

Thanks
Mike

Couple more pictures I got before my camera battery died. I think there are about 3 threads with IG 2013 pictures. Maybe one of the moderators can move them all to this first one?

The signs made the 980 mile trip;

There were at least three of these Sound Signal for Passing Sinclair signs at the show. This one was in the best shape. Other two were presentable but not as clean as this one.

A good idea Wes. Home sweet home! Even after all the fun in Iowa,it's always good to get home. Had a blast! Met a whole bunch of new oldgassers ,got some great stuff! Few more random pics I took! Finally got photobucket straightened out.
Me and my good friend,George Johnston.

Always a pleasure to see you and Jackie !
Maurice and Paddy,out enjoying the great weather we had!

This fella got another Petro salesmans sample and another roller!!(def think hes got ME beat!)

There's more i am hoping to see posted,but they are on other cameras...
Them oldgas guys went thru a case or two of beer at the picture,and about three pounds of sausage!
. Poof! Gone!,

Does anyone know the outside vendor who had the globe/lens with "Gasoline" and it was perforated lettering on the lens? The globe and lens were faded/flat black? He was packed up and I didn't get a chance to talk to him about it.

The Evinrude sign was nice. It was in Rick Pease/ Howard Clabourns spot if I recall. I probably messed up spelling their names but they always have nice clean porcelain
