I'm trying to remove some overspray from a rattle can that's on a big Kelly tires sign. Is there a way to do this without removing the original paint from the sign?

I've used OOPS and also boiled linseed oil with mixed results. Sometimes plain old car rubbing compound will work. Good luck!

I've had some luck with WD40 , never hurt any thing I sprayed it on --Yet. Let it set a while. 0000 steel wool with the WD40 should do it.

Accepting that there could be some paint loss, a fine grit sandpaper and soapy water. I did this one several years ago with 600 grit. It took literally an entire day and left me with no fingerprints.
