Bring on the pics, thanks in advance.

I attended the Goodguys car show in Puyallup Washington this past weekend. The swap meet could have fit into a Denny's parking lot. Yes it was that small.

I got there late Tuesday, had a business meeting Wednesday, and left to come home early this morning (Thursday).

Took about 15 pictures, will post them tomorrow.

I would like to post some observations, these are not criticisms, just observations.

Plenty of vendors, buyers it appeared to me to be less.
Not many room to room vendors, or maybe not many opened on Wednesday night. Every vendor I talked to said their sales were good.

At least four vendors selling reproduction signs. One guys signs were mostly over $100.00 each. Another guy was selling leaded glass repro signs.

Saw some car parts there and another vendor was openly selling a gun.

I guess everything changes eventually.

Many people, including me, were home Wednesday nite. After lunch Wednesday many vendors started packing and pulling out..... Sorry I didn't think to bring a camera.

...I'd like to see more pics as well...

...the show is advertised as "July 31-August 2, 2013" right here on Oldgas - but it sounds as if it was over almost before it started?...confused

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

you got that right Gulfiend! - Wednesday morning was very short lived- can't imagine how dead Thursday was! Sure wish they could get this show schedule more like Columbus! It looks like a few people stuck around for today's auction though!

Anyone have pics? Lol. There has to be someone home that has some. Tuesday was the best and went downhill fast from there! There wasn't a vendor in sight after noon yesterday!

Posting these pictures took me 1 1/2 hours, I had to relog into OG at least six times, and at least three times everything would disappear just when I was ready to hit the submit button.

Has anyone else had any problems like this, or is it my computer?

Thanks,

Jack

I was there late Tuesday but I somehow missed those Dixie globes! I think my eyes were just glazed over from all the stuff I couldn't have....It was my first IG and I had a good time. It's always good to put names with faces but trying to put a name and an OG screen name with a lot of new faces is really too much to process. Maybe it was just the beer......GB.

Jack,
Thank you for posting!
Is the Nepton V a old bomb or fuel tank that has been converted to a kids ride/toy?
I've had the problem with image shack of uploading 8 pics and only 5 show up under my pictures. I've never had someone elses' pics show up in my batch but I wonder about mine!??
I've also accidently erased my typing because of pressure on my laptop of my palms, it's extremely frustrating!
Good luck!!

Those Dixie globes belong to Lenny Hop, a regular here on OG. Look him up, he might still have them.

Good pictures, thanks. I was there at the show but did not see everything that was there. My camera battery went dead after about 6 shots. Not sure who had the Dixie globes, pretty sure it was not Lonny Hop but he probably knows who did have them

Wes,
Take another look at the pic with the Dixie globes, I believe that is Lonny sitting the chair in the back.

Jack

Thank you, it looks like skin or part of them from a rotator.

I saw Lonnie at his site so I don't think the Dixie's were his. I remember seeing the three globes on that table but for some reason don't remember all those on the ground there. I'm sure Lonnie will know who had them, I may holler at him. I was hoping I might find a mate to my Rebel single but only found someone who also had a single they want to keep....GB

I think it was Joe Rawls stuff or right by theirs. That photo is back where the parking lot expansion is going to be done. It's not Lonnies stuff

Thanks
Mike

Who's Joe Rawls here on OG, or is he even on here?... I'm not sure we have the Dixie's figgered out Katfish.....oh, and was that Roman Ryan's? .....whew! I think we need to post a layout of the show lot next year with an overlay of all the vendors on it. That way everybody can figure out who everybody was and where their stuff was and.....then we'll really be confused! Lol!.....GB.

When I took the pics I used my Nikon camera. I had my tablet with me also. Was wishing I could take pics with the tablet and with one or two clicks have them on OG.

How about one of you guys figuring how we can do that?

When John Logsdon was walking around towards end of show picking up the Fender Washers w/ space #'s, most were missing! During the show most were either covered up or already missing.
