For about a second I got excited when I saw this Chicago Motor Club thermometer. I then started to check it out and I believe it's a total fake. I then started to look at the sellers latest feedback and he's buying old undesirable thermometers. I think he's using the old bodies and making desirable thermometers and passing them off as real. He is also selling an Amalie Oil thermometer as well that's totally fake. Look at the back and notice how one hanger is totally rusted and the others aren't. The same thing with the Chicago Motor Club one. Nice perfect face and rusted worn body. He told me that he has never seen one on e-bay but it you look at his feedback he sold another in March 2013!

ebay item number- 181188016047

GONE.
Post his seller name so others can Ignore his auctions, after an item was removed [as this item was] we can't access his auctions.

ebay needs to take lessons from JP & add an IGNORE THIS SELLER option.
