Has any body heard from Curt lately? I, for one, miss his stories and insights...

Curt... Where are you?

Still alive and kicking although buried in writing projects and local history. My research into local history has expanded beyond service stations and it didn't seem like there was as much interest here in that "other" stuff so I took a break. Thanks for picking up FATW for me to those that did, I got a bit lax over the summer.

Here is an historic photo with a gas pump in it. Can anyone identify the pump?

Bonus points if you can tell me the location.

Triple bonus points if you can tell me the names of the people.

Somewhere near Salinas ...Lord

(Who sang that)???

Notice, can and funnel probably with a chamois strainer..FILTERED GASOLENE!!
Wonder if the pump had the tap on it, looks like it has a hose as well.

Here's a clue...There's a good chance that one of them is "C. H. Pearson".

Not much help was it, but so far Bennett got the pump question answered.
