After dissecting/cleaning one of these I discovered on the reverse side the word gas stamped on the plate. The plates were made to be flipped depending on what was being sold. Gas or Kero. The ring & plates are made of brass or copper(common sense tells me spark proof) I was thinking a lubester but those didn't contain gas or kero...did they? Anyone know what these things went on?

I got a bunch of them. How about this gb cap. Looks like a center cap off a old car but the gb confuses me. Is it gas pump related?
