Now the cans. I haven't cleaned the Shell yet, but I think it will clean up nicely...

Always great to upgrade a rare North Star globe even if it is just a single lens. I bought this last month and a buddy of mine just brought it today from British Columbia, where it was found. My old globe had both lenses washed out along the bottom so I was happy to finally get a better one. Interesting that it says 'Trademark reg'd in Canada'. I haven't seen many Canadian globes with that. This is on a banded glass body held into place by a steel band with four threaded screws. The globe book got it wrong for some reason. I don't own a copy of the new digital version so I don't know if it has been corrected. I have had usually two or three of each of my North Star globes over the years but most of the Ethyl ones have just been singles for some reason. Definitely scarce in any condition. Cheers, Don.

Excellent "Buys" everyone!!! I picked up a few Ebay items... I noticed this image from 1961, on Ebay. I then was able to purchase one of the large Flying A Tire and Tube decals shown in the upper window... Now I need to buy a couple pieces of plexi to mount it in: I also found an Associated Oil 5 gal bulk can:
Looking for Tide Water/ Tide Water-Associated/ Tidewater items
