I posted a pic of the Bennett 76 a while back when I found it along with a stash of globes. That picture was when it was setting in the storage building as I found it before I could put all the pieces on it. The guy I got it from had the face plates and windows/bezels packed away for safe keeping. There's something about my trips down south cause I always seem to find something each trip either going or coming home. I took my pickup this last trip to bring the 76 home and on the way down found the 36B. I was stoked when I found it because I had been wanting to do a Pure pump ever since I had found the set of Pure 15" lenses with the Bennett. I had no idea what shape it was in, let alone what brand it might be when I went to look at it. It was a farm pump that the guy had actually gotten from the farmer out of a brush pile still bolted to a concrete slab. It was completely covered in blue paint when he found it and after all the layers of paint were removed there was a perfect pump underneath with four perfect ad glasses and two perfect ppp's. Note the Pure logo plate where the sight glass normally is which I'm told was typical of farm pumps. I had never seen this before although I'm sure it is not that uncommon. The only things he had added were the stainless trim spears and the blockoff plate above the sign. I got them home and unloaded just before Iowa so I just put everything back on them today and shot some pictures. I will restore them sometime but I may keep them setting around as is for a while.....GB

Looks like a factory plate in case the owner wasn't going to use a globe. I have a fairly low ceiling in my garage and I have one of these plates on one of mine where a ceiling joist is.Brady

Very nice looking!
Like em' just as they are but they'd be amazing when restored.
Congrats on the find.

There is a factory plate over the globe mount hole. It is rusted out as I guess it has never had a globe on it.....GB
