I'm working on a Wayne 515 visible and i'm needing to know what size the hose was that came on these pumps originally. It has a 1 inch outlet, but all the Buckeye nozzles I have are 3/4 inch holes. Did 3/4 inch hoses come on a visible pump? Thanks
I found a Fry Mae West 117! Now I need orig. parts! Base doors, cyl. rods, skin & base bolts, reg. fingers, conduit pipe, light arms & shades, & more

Dick, This pump doesn't have a quick shutoff valve, but the pipe is one inch. It elbows down and it had a reducer for an old hose, not an original hose, that screwed into the pump. It had a Buckeye nozzle that has a 3/4 hole. thanks

It must have been removed a very long time ago. The guy that owns it has a picture of it sitting at the gas station back in the 40's. I'm pretty sure it wasn't on there then.

It would've had a valve and not used a 3/4 inch handle. The outlet size and nozzle size were the same. If 1 1/4 then use that size nozzle if 1 inch the use a 1 inch nozzle. There wasnt a reason to reduce the size on a gravity pump. Someone MIGHT have broke the valve and took it off and replaced the hose with 3/4 and a newer nozzle but it didn't come that way.

AFTER the standard use of WET HOSE Nozzles, the drain valve was something else that could leak or freeze burst with water freezing.

According to original Wayne literature, the 500 pumps came with 10' of 1" hose. http://petrolianacollectibles.com/wayne%20515.htmJack Sim
