Since this is a non-US gas pump, the wording on any instructions or warnings may be different than what is on US pumps. We could use some help from UK or European collectors. Here is Chris' image: The following image is a similar Avrm Hardall pump submitted by Don Sherwood. Still got this pump Don? Check the text on it. ------------------ Jim "Oldgas" PottsYour host and moderator

Hi Jim, here is what it says on this pump. I'm not sure what is missing on Chris' pump? maybe "Both Hands At Zero", or "And Meter Reset"? ------------------ Don "oltoydoc" Sherwood Vintage Gas [This message has been edited by oltoydoc@pacbell.net (edited 09-19-2004).]

Here is Chris' pump after a restoration that took less than 2 weeks. And a peek at the inside of the same pump. Thanks, Chris. We love the before-and-after and the inside shots. Good job! Can you get the model number off the ID plate and send it to me? ------------------ Jim "Oldgas" PottsYour host and moderator

Chris, try to contact Gary Adcock, Gas Pump Gary here on Oldgas. This is the email adress I found in the collector pages: gary@adcock1971.fsnet.co.uk I think he has a couple of pumps like yours. Also the Dutch fellow who runs this site has a couple of Avery Hardolls: http://www.antiekebenzinepompen.nl/index.htm he has one like yours listed from 1945. hth Claes
