I went yesterday afternoon and had a nice time. Met Paul (carolinaskies) from here. A very nice, cordial gentleman. Take the time to see him if you go! I recognized him by the signs he brought.

Got in from Dixie Gas late last night. Wasn't able to stay longer as I have some stuff being delivered today and needed to be here. I've been doing Spring and Fall Dixie Gas for 10-12 years? Can't exactly remember? This was the very best in all that time. I saw new vendors that I didn't know existed? A lot of people high up in the hobby who were buying like crazy. Prices were strong on most things of value. Chip brought it again this year! Good show and much Thanks to Chip and his crew. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

Excellent show. I have been going to DIXIE GAS from the first one. What started out as about a dozen people set up has grown to one of the best shows to go to. Walking traffic was the best Ive ever seen. Sales were very strong and prices were holding well. Dan Matthews had the Enarco boy.

Got in yesterday evning from Dixie. One of the best ever. Had great sales but didn't buy much. As already stated there was a lot of foot traffic and prices out the roof...
Wanted: Champion Spark plug, Shell, Pennzoil, Kendall, and Woco Pep signs...Dale Stephens

Thanks Dr Dave for introducing yourself at the show. It was nice to meet you too! Finally got back in town from Dixie, took a side trip up to Tri-Cities flea market and Jonesborough flea market Saturday and Sunday. Lots of people had either been to Dixie or knew it was going on but couldn't make it. I took a spin on Friday afternoon over to Shades of the Past's vendor area where a few fellow pickers were setup to sell. That car show is mainly for finished projects and 90% of the vendors were selling new shiny parts and new/repop signage. I wonder if maybe a space could be rented at the car show to promote Dixie Gas for those not familiar with it and drive some traffic over there. I know some of you will be headed to Susan Moore, don't think I'll make it there, but will be heading next week to Charlotte Speedway for the fall Autofair.
Collecting anything keeps you young at heart!

Some pictures of Dixie. The only complaint I heard was from some shoppers saying they had a hard time finding the show because of the lack of signs, directions, and when asking people in the area where the show was they had never heard of it.
They had suggested some flyers be put up at the local hotels, stores etc.
