A friend sent me this picture of a desk lamp he wants me to make for him. It's kind of neat and easy to build and I thought I would share. I probably will add some arms to it when I make it.

Ok I got all the black fittings for this
How does the light fixture attached to the nozzle end? where do you get the retro bulb from? or is it old stock?

The bulbs are called Edison Bulbs and new ones can be bought at Lowes, Homedepot or just about any lighting store, For the light socket I was going to epoxy a nipple into the spout that the socket will screw onto.
Hopefully some of you will post your results

I just don't see it. I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That's not a good looking lamp. To industrial and unfinished looking IMO.
I built a stroker 340 and had 8 extra stock pistons and rods. I repurposed the extra parts and built 8 of these lamps. Was going to keep two for myself...but they sold like hot cup cakes. A very good customer wanted the two I had set aside for myself and couldn't say no to him. Well, long story short, I have 440 in the shop to rebuild and when I do, I'll be doing another eight lamps up.
