There is a Tokheim 39 two ad glass tall gas pump coming up for sale in a few days in my area. I haven't seen the pump yet but the owner said that the side panels where aluminum and the doors were metal.
My question is did they make these pumps with aluminum side panels? I'm hopeing to go look at it before the sale date. Any info will be helpful. Thanks.

I have owned a couple of short 39's with aluminum sides. They dent easy. Richard

This one has aluminum sides with steel doors and top. I also have a National A66 with aluminum sides.

Interesting...I've never run across one of these aluminum hybrids yet.

Did they come from the factory with the aluminum sides or are they aftermarket panels that might have been replaced by the gas vendor after some damage had been done to a pump?
