Just wondering what bulb style and wattage people run in their globes and behind ad glass?

I use the twisty bulbs in my globes and pumps. Less heat and power.

I use the 60 watt equivalent on my pumps and globes. I think that is a 9 watt CFL like Wes said.

Thanks, Phil

I use the energy saver 75W bulbs which are equivalent to 20W regular bulbs. - lots of candle power without the the heat. Have used them for well over a year without any problems.

I have been useing standard 60 watt bulbs. Perhaps I need to change as they do not seem to last for some reason.
Only last about 2-3 months in both the front and in the globe.
Could there be something wrong with the electrical in my pump?
Thank You.

Is there a lot of vibration by the pump? I had a pump at work that was going through bulbs fast but there was a highway out front and train rails behind. I ended up putting heavy duty bulbs in and that solved the problem.

I've got 11 globes lit in a spare bedroom or the "Globe Room" as we refer to it. They show great and as stated before, very, very little heat. I use the Home Depot 14 watt CFL bulbs.
