I am seeking information or sources I may go to for records on ARCO's colonial-type service stations that the refiner built in the 1960s. These stations were equipped with BF Goodrich #92 flex connector hoses which corroded, burst and contaminated underground water supplies. I shall appreciate any information or suggestions from anyone who is aware of these hoses and the problems they caused.

Thank you.

Arco wasnt the only company that used those flexhoses. In the early 80's I removed quite a few them for other oil companies in Texas. Most of the ones we removed showed signs of degrading while in the ground. Most cities outlawed them in the late 70's or early 80's.Fire dept's were so wary of flexhoses after that, that it took many of them a few years to accept the first generation of the type of flexhoses we use today.
