We bought this old farm house and this great Gas Pump was on the property, still working... Looking for information on it.
It is I believe a 1956 Flying A Gas Pump, Model 365 Green, porcelin, and in great condition. Has all it's original glass and in working order when we moved it. Thanks for your response on it! Randy

First of all randy, welcome to the site. By saying that you have a "Flying A" your not telling us much. There should be a tag with a manufacturer name. Such as Tokheim, Bowser, Wayne.... Also a picture would be great. E-mail a pic or two, to me, by clicking on the little envelope next to my name, and I'll post it for you. But watch out... Gas pumps have a way of multiplying....

Thanks Randy, but I couldnt post the pics. What you have is a Tokheim 305 I believe, with a National name tag. Because Tokheim bought out National in 1948, they put the National name on some of their own pumps. You also have what is known as the "Adglass" top. You can find all of this information in "An Illustrated Guide to Gas Pumps" written by Jack Sim. Not only does Jack stop by on occasion, but his book is also available here, through our bookstore page.

This is basicly what your pump would look like with the regular top, Although, this is a Tokheim 39.

As far as value, I'll leave that to the other guys. And I'm going to try to get the pics posted again...
