Interesting....it looks like the $1,600+ final bid for this globe was ****. It seemed pretty unbelievable at the time. Well, the same Flying A globe is now back on eBay just a week or so after the original auction ending. It's available again from the same seller. Surprise, surprise! John

It's not a globe that comes up for sale often. The bad part is that when it sells the next person is going to think there's is worth that price also. Looks like it might be time to part with some Flying A globes if I could make that kind of money on them. A diesel globe doesn't even bring that much. It is a nice piece.

I am using scotts globe CD for value... CD/Books what ever, they are a PRICE GUIDE, Not written in stone & they are not saying you Can't pay more or less. CD's are like books in that it takes Time to produce [edit, re-edit, etc]. As the economy gets better more will be spending/investing in this Hobby of OURS.
