What do you sign experts think? Real? Fantasy?

I have quite a few photos of Transcontinental signs from this time period but none are embossed. The Sharp colors are a Red Flag for me also.
Still, I see at least 1 new version of these signs appear each year I have never seen before.

Here is a known original.

Lot's of aging\patina Looks like one I have except the embossing. Would like to hold it but I would probably take a chance myself.

Im not an "expert' Marathon guy. But that sign looks old and original to me. The size is kinda small. Would it have been used on a shipping crate?
