Excellent examples. I like collecting but I am not that knowledgeable on how old some of the meters are. It has been many years since I watched ebay for prices. Thanks for sharing a picture.

I have a Red Ball meter also, but yours is older, has the older handle. They were used for a short time in the early to mid 50's. That one's in great shape and worth around $500+.
I also have a Curb Cop. There are two versions, yours says Curb Box and other say Curb Cop. Both are from the same company and used 40's to 50's. With an original key, I've seen them upwards of 400, without and with an aftermarket lock, 250-300. The fine-o-meter is a later version and the less sought after version due to the large round lock. Not sure what it's worth.
Prices vary constantly and seem to go up and down often, but just giving you my experience and hope this helps.

Thanks for the info guys I have looked at some of the other red ball meters and most of the ones I have seen looked a lot different that makes sense that it is an early one then the curb box is pretty cool I wish I had the key for it though. and I know wat you mean about the fine-o-meter you should see the key it takes it is really strange(for lack of a better description) the outside edges of the key are smooth and the inside has been notched I have never seen another key like it

Please send your asking price on the Red Ball Meter. Does the meter still function? Is there a plastic dome around the ball?
