Beauty and value are in the eye of the beholder.

People are buying those for the enjoyment and pleasure they get from it's visual impact versus an investment. They are not concerned with its resale value or it's ability to hold its value.

It is a decoration piece for most of those buyers.

Yah I agree Dave. And that's pretty much what it would be for me as well. Just an interesting piece. A conversation piece that would add a nice touch to my Sunoco stuff. But I just dont want to pay $100 plus dollars for it. I just can't see it for a repop anything. But then again, in this case, you wont really find aother one.

Learn how to use a Graphics Program & Make your own or go into competition w/ him on selling a few to bring the prices down!

He is making the reproduction using posterboard. Looks like a foamcore kind of product. See how white the back is. Might be plastic not paper. If so then just about everyone will know they are a reproduction. Once you have one in your hand almost everyone will see that the creases and marks are in the printing and not actual. No different then the old looking signs I have with rust or bullet holes printed in the image.
