Evaporust and 24 hours.
Before and After
Pretty good stuff. And bio safe and can be reused.
Just throwing it out there.
(the stripe is only cuz I didn't use a big enough bowl. Or it would be more consistent)

I bought it at a place called Harbor Freight. Not sure if they have those in the tundra.

Another option is Kaboom bowl blaster (in the purple bottle). My wife told me to use it and I tried it on the top of an oil can and it took it back to bare metal , removed all rust.Next I used it on the bottom of a very heavily rusted lubster and it took all the rust off to the bare metal.Try it you might like it.

Evapo-Rust seems to work its magic without eating away any of the metal like naval jelly which contains phosphoric acid. It eats the rust and some of the bare metal. After completing the Evapo-Rust cycle, the metal has a smooth surface and I have found that it doesn't flash rust like metal that has been cleaned with the acidic rust cleaners.

Hey Larry, like I said you have to use the purple bottle , not they other kaboom products.Found it at the dollar store, wally world used to carry it but they only carry the white bottle stuff that does not work on rust.I will try the evapo-rust also.

Is it the purple aerosol can with the green lid that sprays out blue and turns white?

I have to ask Larry if you're impatient after using Kaboom on the toilet seat and you give it a shot-does it blow up? Sounds like a dangerous maneuver no matter how its written!

No John ,as stated it is in the purple plastic bottle with a lime green top with a curved neck and it is a gel and turns color when thru working.Purple when applied and then turns green when finished. " kaboom bowlblaster " .it is hard to find but Dollar general has last time I went looking a few weeks ago.
