I have a bennett 788 that has a more modern looking meter attached to the top. Just wondering what was on top of the 788? I do have pics if somone would like a visual.
Thanks
Dave

IF, the meter [approx. 4"H x 6"D x 10/12"L] is on TOP where the globe should be, you have a commerical pump & it is probly approx. 4 1/2 ft tall w/ solid door panels. Am I correct ?

You can replace the meter with a plate & add a globe. IF you can locate a couple of bottom damaged 5' doors, they can be shortened to fit. Then add a computer & faces.

WOW
Spot on, no meter just blank doors and the " box meter on top", Thanks. So that is original? Im thinking a globe would look kinda cool on top.
Thanks
Dave

They also make nice little showcase pumps by doing a cutout in door panel & adding glass shelves.

Counter is on top, meter is on the inside.
If it has a numbers, it is a non-computer,
computer or a counter or a clock. The meter measures the fluid.
The really old pump mechanics still called computers, clocks.
You wouldn't call an engine a transmission would you?
I'll get you guys learned one day.

Thanks Joe

Your right, I will learn some day but until then, I'll make mistakes and laugh at myself when someone points them out!

Well gotta check the air in the carb add some octane to the washer fluid and hit the road, its half past beer! LOL

Joe,
FORGET IT.
Most guys REFER to ALL oil dispensing 30/35 tanks as LUBESTERS [BENNETT HIGH BOY] ! LOL

I can't help it.
I rebuilt meters for 15 years, and have been rebuilding computers for 20.
I would rather hear a computer called a clock than a meter.
I have never seen any literature on the pumps you are talking about Dick, what is the industry's name for the tanks with hand pumps on top???
