Did some 36Bs come with porcelain faces? I saw one on a farm with both doors missing that had porcelain faces that looked like the ones on a Tokheim 39. They did not have the steps on each side of the face. I have a 36B with the aluminum faces that I am planning on restoring, but the faces are dirty or stained. It looks like they have had diesel fuel poured on them. It there a way to clean the faces to make them look new without damaging them? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

Once the anodizing is gone, the faces oxidize. It's not worth the effort to try and clean them. I have new replacements for $34 shipped. Ron Scobie rscobie@gaspump.com

I have not seen porcelain faces on any 36B.
