Yea, and look at that thing on the right, it is probably a cream seperator, the reason I know it is because my wife made me drag one of them home from some auction we attended. Cursed her all the way home.

Jack and all:

Sure looks like a cream separator to me. I ended up with one at an auction by mistake. I thought I was buying the 'Cream' Milk Can next to the seperator. But there were people between me and the auctioneer when he started the bidding. I ended up wining with the high bid - then he held up the milk can that I thought I had just bought and started bidding on that. I was so disgusted that I paid for the separator and went home.

I'm still getting grief about not getting the Cream Can for Jodi. But the Separator will make a neat plant stand when I get the time to re-do it.

Later . . .

Jim

I was able to go this auction and thankfully I didn't have to wait all day for the pumps to sell. I was there for 45 minutes. There also was a Wayne 515 with a single lens Kanotex on a Hull body ... the pump base had been brazed in a multitude of places and the skins were beat next to the base-- $1800. I believe the clockfaces were both Bennet 150s with just slight variations to the model. Both had excellent lower skins with the top skin on one also excellent. Only one good bezel out of four ... base and other castings were good. Both pumps went to one elderly gentleman for $2000 each! Koolmotor

Prices were high for pumps in that condition. I was at a sale last Sat. and they sold an American 810 ten gallon visible, cylinder was a blue tint in excellent shape, but the rest was junk. Skins pitted beyond repair. Dome top missing. Pump sold at $1100. People are nuts. Glad I gathered some pumps up when I did, they sure have gone up in $$. But, it is all in what you like I guess!!!

The really neat thing about it all is that I've been noticing young people in their 20's grabbing up this stuff. Good to see the interest is there.....
