my m&s 70 has a no addglass top,with a 7 inch globe holder.(and yes frank,red paint comfirms it was probably a mobil at one time)looked for pics of an addglass top with a globe holder and was not able to find any.did these come with globe holders,or did the powers that be figure that the addglass was enough?any pics of an addglass with a globe?thanks mick

Unless special ordered, every pump left the factory painted red, so your pump could have been used by any brand.
Small town dealers hardly had the money to paint the new pump, so they just put a decal and a globe on it from whatever company they used.

ok couple more ms 70 questions if i may?the top on my 70 was loose,bolts looked broke.what or how was the top held on?like acorn nuts? also see a chrome trim kit in GPH's catolog,where did these peices go on the pump?really could use some good detail pics on this pump!also neither of jacks books show the addglass version of this pump.what value on an addglass top pump?thanks all,mick
