ON THE NOZZLE SIDE OF THE PUMP THERE IS A SHAFT COMING OUT WITH A SPLINE ON THE END OF IT. IT APPEARS TO BE A PUSH / PULL SHAFT AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT RUNS INTO THE LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY, SHOULD THERE BE SOME KIND OF KNOB ON THE SPLINE END OF THE SHAFT. THANKS IN ADVANCE

I looked on mine and the shaft has no knob on it. This pump is so complete, I can't imagine anything is missing. The restored clockface shaft was replaced with a new switch and the shaft was eliminated. I can't remember it having a knob either.

My model 86 does not have a knob on the light switch shaft either. When I obtained the pump, it was pretty much intact.
