It has to be late 50s or very early 60s.

Very cool!

Thanks. I thought the slogan "the tire of the future today" was neat and was probably from around that era. I will look for any makers markings when I clean it up later.

Actually, when I was cleaning it today, I found that it says Scioto Signs Kenton Ohio USA 1984.

Thanks. It still has an old look to it. It is embossed and pretty heavy tin.

I passed on this Wolf's Head sign and a 1991 Pennzoil sign. I know the WH is newer also. Any thoughts on it as far as desireability/value ? Would $75 be too much for it?

Well, I stand corrected. Pretty odd - it sure doesn't look 80s...

Interestingly enough, that sign company still exists, and has a website. They apparently make Kendall signs now, among lots of others.
