I have a couple globe lenses that have been stored in a carboard box with the lenses separated with newspaper. About fifeteen years have gone by since I looked at them. It appears that there is a very curious steaking in the glass that I don't recall seeing years ago. It doesn't come off with glass cleaner and doesn't show up when the lenses are back lit. Anyone know whats up? Can this be removed. I saw some very expensive Jenny Gas globes being bid up on Ebay a couple weeks ago that suffered from the same thing. thanks.............
