Item # 3642264767. I am bidding on this sign right now, has 3 days left. I received an email stating this sign is a repro and a few years ago could be purchased from Vic's for $69.00. Does anyone have an insite on this sign before I go to far???? Thanks, Dave

I used the search on MSN, Yahoo and Goggle and came up with a couple of signs made by Robertson-Dualife-Springfield, Ohio. It seems they were in business around 1949. It could still be a repro, I would do somemore checking if possible.

I have one of these signs..It has a slight yellow look to it also as if they were stacked with paper in between. I bought mine off of a guy in Minnesota that I trust. Also it is a 2 sided sign. I believe that this is a oil rack sign. Are their very many repops that are 2 sided?????I believe this sign is real. Jack's info would also back it up as Phillips 66 used black and orange up until 1959.

THANKS GUYS for all the input on the Phillips 66 sign. I appreciate it. I didn't think they would repo a D/S sign, but it makes you feel good to hear it from some others. I will do some more research. Thanks, Dave

Dave...not to worry, I had a sign just like that in last years auction attached to an oil rack and it went for big, big bucks. That is as real as real gets.
