That sign reminded me of a "crafts" item that a little old lady would make to sell at a craft show..no kidding. Someone is going to regret that in the morning. Okay..I will get off of my box and sit down and shut up.

Well, your right. I have to go back next week to look at some texaco consignee signs he says he has, he didnt want to try to find them this morning, you know how those 95 year old guys are. So when I go back Ill make sure to shoot some photos of the scene AKA the chicken coop.

Are you going to take the sign with you and stage it? Fire your sign painter or at least slap him for dropping the s laugh

What does a ckicken coop or chicken ***** have to do with authenticity of a faked sign? Notta. A sign maker takes pride in his work and if you will notice the frame was cut from a inferior board on the top with a knot from edge to edge that he knew would not stay together for very long in the elements.

I find it odd that the sign says "since 1903". As this type of legitimizing the brand wasn't popular until the later half of the century.

see me at Mason Dixon Gas, Spring Carlisle M114-115, and Hershey C4E-35.
