Here's my 1931 Model AA Ford 1-1/2 ton stakebed truck, an unrestored original with 40,000 miles which I have owned for 31 years. I bought him in 1982 out of a barn where he had been stored up on blocks for about 25 years. He had 36,000 miles on him when I found him. This photo was taken during the filming of a movie near my home in Bartlett, Texas a couple of years ago. His name is "Henry".

And this is "Jethro", my 1929 Model A Ford Grapes of Wrath Okie Dustbowl Buggy which was also used in the same movie. That's me with my back to the camera with the wardrobe person getting me ready to drive in the next scene. That's the movie's director in the pink shirt to the left of Jethro and both he and the screenplay writer loved Jethro and used him in several scenes instead of some of the nicely restored antique cars available. Their comment when they first saw him was, "Now, that's patina!" I know he's not a truck but everyone seems to love seeing Jethro.

If you are not driving your antique car frequently you might as well be collecting clocks!

Always remember you are unique, just like everyone else.

Here's a nice shot of some 1930 Model AA Ford gasolene tankers being delivered when new in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
