I have no personal expertise or knowledge base when it comes to Oilzum Signs to draw upon. Oilzum signs are never seen or found in Canada as Oilzum never made it up here. Any signs found here have been transplanted by collectors.

I have been reading and following the other thread about the Oilzum sign. Not much, I could personally add to that thread due to my limited exposure to Oilzum signs.

The only thing the posters were agreeing to agree to in that thread, was that, everyone has an opinion. Right or wrong, I find myself to have been convinced by the side that has deemed the sign as a "fantasy" sign.

Curious where everyone else stands on this. Let's have a poll to see what the censensus is on the sign in question.

Real or Fake
single choice
real (41%, 15 Votes)
fake/fantasy (59%, 22 Votes)
Total Votes: 37
Voting on this poll ends: Fri Oct 25 2013 09:42 AM

Sorry about the start time. I have never used the poll feature before and can't seem to figure out how to edit the start time. I guess we will just have to wait.

Good idea Dave--I don't have sufficient knowledge of these either and it will be interesting to see what others think!

This morning, I would not have predicted that the results would be this close.

I would not rely on polls. Most are just wild guesses.
