What is the "normal, standard" size of a round pump plate. Is it 12" or 11 3/4 thanks Ray

Ray-- a lot of the repops were made in the 11 3/4 size, but it varied from company to company. Cities Service round pump plates were 10 1/4.

Generalizations are usually not good. However, in this instance it's fair to assume that 99.9 %, 12" or 11 3/4" porcelain round signs are fake/fantasy signs.

The reason I asked is that I picked up a Hancock Gasoline pump plate that appears to be very original. The white backside has the "marbling" you would see on an original sign, not just flat white. It measures 11 3/4 so now I'm just not sure Ray
