I am restoring a Martin Schwartz 80 and am looking for others opinions. I have restored several other pumps and have installed aftermarket globes to add to the appearance. I would like to do this with the MS 80 however I have seen pictures of them with globes and my first impression is that a globe on a MS80 almost looks too large, out of proportion. Does anyone think the same?

My thoughts exactly. But, thats just me and you. We'll have to see what everyone else thinks. Of course when it comes right down to it....build the pump to please yourself.

I think 15" & 16 1/2" metal bands would look too big. Plastic or Glass bodies would be OK. Some of the STANDARD Co.'s used the crown globes on the M&S 80's.

We always say the pump is just there to hold the globe up....Rich B
