Joe, mine has an overall length of 30.5". That includes the threads at the bottom. Sounds like you need to flip a coin.

...Joe...aren't there at least two different Mobil lollipop signs, one being larger than the other?...that might explain the discrepancy...which sign do you have?

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

That might be,the sign part I do not have in my hands as of now.My buddys a contrator that was doing some digging for a foundation and dug up a Mobil oil sign that was orginaly a lollipop, then another person I know moved into a new house and someone left behind a cast base that has Mobil Oil and a Gargoyle cast into it.So I'll just throw a pipe in between the two and I'll have a nice sign.I was just looking for the proper length, maybe I'll split the two unless someone else can tell me more,I know it's not that crtical I was just trying to be as accurate as possible. Thanks for the replys. It's funny how stuff is found once and while.

Mine is about 37in long including the threads. I think they varied in size a few inches.
