Ran across one just like this yesterday, not cheap so wondering what the value would be on one in pretty much the same cond? No band or base, just the sign. Double sided of course.

Thanks,
Mike

I know someone out there knows the value of this sign. The one I'm looking at is 500 and in my opinion I think that about tops it out. I could be wrong, maybe someone else will chime in.

Thanks, I thought the guy was too high on it. He kept saying it was a really rare sign. I don't know this sign that well and couldn't argue. I'm glad this site is here to answer some of these questions. I'll leave that one where it is.

Mike-- About a year ago, I bought a sign in similar or worse condition, plus the ring around it, plus an original cast iron base with the white eagle name cast on it for $500.00. A guy in Wisconsin had it. Due to my family history in the White Eagle gas station biz in Kansas, I had the sign restored by Don Van Kannel in Loris, South Carolina. The sign is museum quality and I will never part with it.

He is doing another White Eagle steel/porcelain sign for me now. Can't wait to get it back!!!
