Going on right now and I don't think the prices are too high on average?

You missed a lot!! There is tons of it!! I dont know what your looking at. And like Kevin said, the prices seem to be a little more reasonable. At least for the stuff I was looking at. There were two Pennzoil items that I would have jumped on if I wasnt saving my money for Sunoco!

I can't get any audio. I called Proxybid and they said no audio is being streamed...

I was able to snag a couple of items, but the globe market seems alive and well! These 2 lenses brought $5000 for the colored one and $4250 for the plainer one!

One thing I'm confused about though is Lot#670!
I didn't realize it until the bidding on the item was over, but it appears that the winning bidder bought 350 of these at $600 each, for a total of $210,000!
How can anyone bid on a big lot like that with a single picture to go on? I'm still confused, but I'm guessing that we will see a lot of these at up coming shows!

I was wondering the same thing Kevin. I noticed a not in the text saying "Auctioneer is multiplying the high bid by quantity of 350" and I thought, "What"?? That is crazy!!

Glitch? I don't know? I would sure hope so, but the catalog description also says quantity--350?

it was a glitch, i had bid on it prior to the quantity changing, when it was at 325 - asking for 350, i think the clerk hit the wrong button.

i was able to win a few things as well... what do you guys think about that hancock cracked lens? seemed like a good deal considering scotts guide has it as a $10,000+ globe.

kevin, did you beat me out in buying that cities tire stand?, i went what I thought was high on it... but someone else still got it

No--I bought lot 402 and lot 419 and that was it!
I thought I had the Socony Aircraft at $1000 when I was the high bidder for the count of 2, but all of a sudden, it took off again and topped out over $2000 somewhere.

I typed in the text box right at the beginning that I did not have audio and they wrote back that they could not get it working and that there would be no audio. So I'm sure no one had it.

WOW! The bent up, basket case Roman column just brought 9K!

A nicely restored Mobil script top brought $3000

The pumps sold very well!

i was there and everything large... pumps, lubesters, etc brought very good money. I thought everything else besides that went fairly reasonable. not many people there in person... maybe 30-40 people.
