Seems like I've had a long dry spell but here is a few minimal items to get me started again! Another "rabbit" but this one surprised me that it was a 60 gallon tank and I almost did not have room to bring it home! I usually would not touch one of these tiny pumps but 3 things made me pick it up, It was priced right, It is a clock face and evidently it was in use at a CONOCO station! Some cans and license plates too.

I picked up three five qt cans this week from a fellow oldgas member. I have only seen the blue ones in pictures so to get a chance to buy some no hesitation on my part.

I got these two signs locally with a 6 foot oval ESSO I have not picked up yet. They are pretty clean. The Texaco is dated with the latest date I have ever seen at botton. 10-1-65.

Got to love those killer Sinclair signs, great buy!! Picked up truck and trailer load of pump parts today. I really don't have an idea of all that is there since most of it is in boxes that I have not had time to dig thru yet, I'll get it sorted out.....someday. Tom.

Doug, You just gave Dick fair warning I will be contacting him. There is a cast iron top cap similar to a Tokheim 36 that I have never seen. Tom.

I asked the seller a question on this sign. 331082797347 Response was "Shonk Works-American Can Co. Maywood Ill." Does your sign read the same?

Seems to be an aweful lot of these popping up in mint condition?? Seller has multiples of these from what I've been told. There was a large lot of these signs found some years ago, all NOS.. It seems that some more have surfaced? I have one in my collection and I have no doubt that it's original.. Typically these tin "tacker" signs were sold by the hundred, so it's not beyond reason someone could find a large quantity of them.. I don't have any reason to beleive there not real...

I'm in Sandy Oregon at the Les Schwabs getting a flat repaired that I got on the trip out here. A lady called me about these a couple of days ago and I made the trip for them today and thought I would post 'em while I'm waiting. 2, 6 footers that are in Nice shape!

Nice Sunoco stuff Steve!! ,,, and some really sweet buys everyone! Just goes to show that the good stuff is still out there, and what a blast it is to go find/get it! Wow you aren't kidding!! Those are beautiful!! Love the Vertical!! Thanx guys! Now that my !!804 mile round trip!! is concluded and I've had a little rest, I've been able to check them out and they are beauties! Not NOS but the horizontal sign is Very "minty" and the vertical sign has some paint drips, a extra nail hole or two, a couple of scratches and a little paint loss. The backs are cool to look at and the horizontal sign has a stamp on it but I still can't figure out what year they are from exactly. I'm pretty sure, from my research of like company logos graphics, that they date from somewhere between the late 20s to the mid 30s. I decided to take a decent pic of them next to my mocked up roadster that has that set of "Pennsylvania Patrol Pursuit" tires leaning up close to it in the front. I'm STOKED to have these and that this is my first vert sign! If I could I would just edit my above post and swap out these pics for those that I posted but I'm beyond the time limit.
