I've only seen a few sets of these over the years. It's in the Gas Globe CD, Indiana company 15" metal. Neat globe. Scott B.

Good Luck winning them... ...seriously...this is why you should buy the reference material...if the globe is in the book, and there's an original shipping box, you should be able to determine authenticity...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I would not be surprised if a set of these lenses did not bring more at auction; than I receive in 3+ years of my SS Disability payments...

Could you imagine what these would look like mounted on a yellow or red ripple globe body??! They are 15 inch lenses, so ground down to fit a 13 1/2 inch ripple, wouldn't look to good... If you look close they appear to have some condition issues, i would guess based on that about 4-6k a lense...mm

I recently sold a single for a little over $3000. Only a one color globe don't think they are worth more than that. But again, someone just paid over $1400 for a Skelly Aromax globe so these days I guess I need to rewrite the globe CD! Can't keep up with the crazy prices. Scott B.

He has been doing some home work and has talked to a lot of people! Yes, they are only red and white but the graphics of the dragon are cool which i think will drive the price. People really think the box adds to the price and with him knowing where they came from confirms the history behind the lenses. The Super Red Gas lenses are cool but I like the Chippewa globe in the same auction.

Sold for $7600. Any yes I was the backup phone bidder. Each lens had a chip at the bottom as I was told. I tried to start 2014 off with a bang, but my gun was shooting blanks LOL.
