Which Texaco sign would you keep, left or right? I have this trouble from time to time. I buy thinking that I am upgrading. Most of the time it really is an upgrade but sometimes it is hard to tell. The one on the left I bought about a year ago. The one on the right I bought the other day.

Id say the one on the left is about a 4-5 and the one on the right is 5-6. JMO

I agree with Jim--the one on the right is a shade better!

The one on the left is better for the main fact that the main field is clean though the edge is worse. One of the things I've learned in reselling such signs, having a clear main field is better even with the damage along the edge.

I look at the sign. The one that looks better to me is the one that I decide looks better to me. My rating may be a little generous but I still think the sign with big pieces missing is less of a sign. Dans idea is a good one. And spoken like a true sign salesman, to boot.

Sell them both and buy a better one. Dan I agree with statement above. If you did keep one I'd say the right one! Dan
