I recently purchased a Tokheim 950 that had the original light manifold in it, but it was only a single socket inside the dome. Is this correct? or should there be a socket that goes up into the globe?

I have had a few of these thru here in the past 20 years. Most only had the single, original socket. I think that the original design was counting on some small amount of light being reflected up into the globe? Paul www.severngaspumps.com
