COTM Jan 2014 is Kerr-McGee/Deep Rock and their affiliates which include: Kermac of Oklahoma City, OK acquired 1945 Triangle Refineries Houston,Tx acquired 1957 Southport Oil Corporation Houston,Tx Mileage Mart Illinois 1959 Trackside Service Stations Gulfport,Ms 1962 Peoples Oil Company Nashville,Tn 1959 Wallace and Walco Atlanta,Ga Mutual Oil Company Birmingham,Al 1985 Golden Rule St.Louis Sparky-Triangle Brand operating in Alabama Vaught Oil Company Flora,Il early 1960's Power Oil Company Macon,Ga 1962 United Oil Company Cape Giradeau,Mo Imperial Oil Sommerset,Ky Tan-T-Kar Stations Birmingham,Al. Coast Oil Company Shreveport,La Hiotane Kerr-McGee was founded by Robert S. Kerr and others in the Oklahoma City oil fields of Anderson-McGee Drilling in 1929. During the early years they operated a single gas station branded as Phillips 66 which closed during the gas rationing days of WWII. Prior to WWII Phillips geologists Dean McGee joined the company. In 1946 the corporate name was changed to Kerr-McGee. It was also the year that the company entered the retail market having bought Okalhoma City based Harrell Brothers, Yellow Cab gasoline trademark, and replaced it by the KerMac brand. In 1955 Deep Rock Oil Company was purchased. Deep Rock had been around since 1913. At the time of the merger Deep Rock brand appeared on over 1000 stations in 16 Mid-Continetal states. 1957 K-M acquired Triangle Refineries a primarily wholesale operation founded in Abbottsford,WI. in 1937. About this time K-M also bought out Knox Industries of Texas. The Knox brand survived into the 1960's. Thru Triangle KerMac was able to acquire several private brands including Peoples Oil and Milage Mart in 1959; Trackside and Wallace in 1962 along with Power Oil Company, Coast Oil Company and Tan-Kar. The K-M brand as a stand alone first appeared in Oklahoma City in 1965. K-M brand and logo eventually replaced Deep Rock and continues in use today. This is a very brief histoy of K-M/Deep Rock and their affiliates. Thanks to Phoenix who was COTM in 2003 and wrote the above. Post them if you got them

Well, Shawn beat me to the Hiotane. Here are some cans. The Hiolube is Gulfport Oil Corporation, but this one is from Birmingham Alabama. Peoples is Nashville. Peoples cans are hard to find. Do see quite a few of their two gallon cans. Tan-Kar cans are extremely hard to find.
Looking for early Pure Oil Company items(Energee,Detonox,Puritan)as well as any Woco Pep items.
Looking for graphic quart cans for my collection.
