What size(wattage) bulbs were used in the tall electrics(Wayne 60)?

Nothing higher than 40 watt. Remember the time frame...1937-war years. Not a lot of people used bright lights. I remember, as a kid living on the farm, where my Dad lit our stable with one 40 watt bulb. Just enough to keep from killing yourself. Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I used 40W compact fluorescent bulbs. Low energy use and don't get hot.

I use just regular 20w bulbs just gives them A nice glow!!!
As a friend said your not lighting a room with it!!! Jim

Getting ready to light my Tokheim that I am finishing up and checking into 5 watt sylvania micro mini compact spiral cfl florescent bulbs for it.Shows home depot sales them.Next trip to the city I will pick some up.lowest wattage in that shape that I could find searching.


Wanted TEXACO related items & SUNOCO related items .Signs -Globes et'c. Oil Cans - Grease cans .
