I am in the process of restoring a Bennett 766 pump. Most of the major work has been done by someone else (restoration-light), so, I am just trying to detail it a little better, and make it a tad bit more correct. I would like to e-mail someone out there, that might be able to answer some questions about various parts, what they should look like restored. Right off the bat, I would like to know what finish did the two cast housing (hose connection and cable) come in? Were these chrome plated, painted silver, or what? Is the base of the pump painted the same color as the sides (I am restoring a Sinclair/Dino)? Thanks for any help, dean@angliaobsolete.com
