I put a tire valve in a small plastic tube on the end and used an air compressor.
Oilzum, 1qt Oil Cans, Gas and Oil smalls, Oldsmobile collectables.

I have two sets already. I turn it on my compressor with regulator at 80 and they really sound off.

Depending on the horn they can sound off at 45-60PSI up to 110PSI, the more critical number for quality is CFM as it's the vibration developed from the mass of air flowing over the valving. Think of it this way, when Louis Armstrong was blowing his horn his cheeks were extended dramatically to hold more air to push through the instrument. My ships horn has a full 1" inlet and 3" throat whereas most semi-truck systems have less than half that. Given you are looking at a gang of horns you'll need a pretty good supply of air to make them sound off. My horn sounding off at low CFM

My old friend George had a locomotive horn on his '31 Packard and liked to sound it at grade crossings.
