Im going to look at an 18' banjo/lollipop Texaco sign tomorrow. My question is, can any 6' sign be put inside the ring? Might be a dumb question. I just personally have never had one and even though I would assume the answer is yes. I want to be sure before I put in the time taking down and transporting this monster. Thanks

Bare sign with no frame is how Texaco mounted the signs.

I found 4 in 2005 and was able to buy 3 of them. Here's a few pic's.

Not to bad, weight wise. My then 12 year old son and I lifted and stacked these on the trailer by hand.

Darn, I probably shouldn't have posted these pictures. DB now has some picture evidence of me rustling banjo poles out of WA.
